Protection and breathability: the two opposites come together in the Coreshell jacket, providing the cross-country skier with perfect thermal comfort. The front, with the exclusive Membrain115 membrane and Buffercone insulation technology in the inner layer, keeps the body warm, protected from water and wind. When activity is maximal, the moisture produced by the body is free to escape through the micro-perforated panel on the back. To achieve an optimal comfort experience, UYN engineers developed Ergomotion technology: the one-piece construction of the shoulder and sleeve eliminates creases and constrictions. The highly elastic 3D knitted fabric allows the garment to adapt naturally to the movement of the arms ensuring maximum agility.

Buffercone
The human body produces heat, the most effective form of insulation is that which prevents its loss. UYN technicians have developed a material with an innovative structure that is highly effec-tive in retaining heat. This permits a three-dimensional, baggy surface structure in which heated air is trapped in socalled “buffer cones”, thus generating a buffer zone. Unlike conventional fleece materials, the thickness of the structure can be adjusted as desired. Based on the map-ping of the heat distribution produced by the human body, it is possible to create areas with high, medium and low insulating power.

Membrain 115
UYN's exclusive intelligent membrane, waterproof and breathable at the same time. Its distinctive feature is its very high extension capacity. Unlike traditional membranes, Membrain 115 does not limit the elasticity of the fabric to which it is paired, allowing it to be flexible and comfortable.

Ergomotion
After studies and comparative tests between different models, we have created a sleeve and shoulder design that follows the shoulder blade profile. This system allows the jacket to adapt perfectly to the body and to follow every movement of the arms without limits. Ergomotion has al-lowed us to eliminate the annoying feeling of constraint traditionally felt when wearing a jacket and to replace it with total freedom.

Haloflex is an innovative manufacturing technique that allows for ergonomically optimized apparel - almost completely without seams.
