I bought the old complete set used and I'm really happy with it, but the pot was badly damaged and when this set was finally available again, I thought that I could treat myself to this one as well.
When unpacking I was very surprised that the pan only lay loosely and to my disappointment I had to realize that the indentations with which you can snap the pan on the pot with the old set, with the new set (or only the pan) are no longer available. On the one hand, this is nicer for preserving the non-stick coating, but on the other hand, you now need a strap or something similar to fix the pan on the pot. It's kind of a shame because I really liked the system.
A nice gimmick is the new felt cover for the pot handle, so that nothing can scratch it from the inside (a legitimate concern with the bare aluminum in this set). I also immediately checked whether the normal handle fits in there and yep, fits!
