Vibram XS Grip²
Vibram XS Grip² represents the natural evolution of Vibram XS Grip, the compound used by many bouldering and difficulty world championship winners in the last 3 years. Vibram XS Grip2 delivers measurably improved grip with adequate firmness for moderate edging, while maintaining consistent performance in all temperatures.
PAF
PAF (Pressure-Absorbing-Fit) System is an innovative (heel) system that distributes heel tension while improving heel fit. The strong instep band is interrupted behind the heel to reduce pressure on the Achilles tendon. There it is connected to a softer rubber, which acts as a "bridge" and allows complete adaptation to the individual heel shape. The holes at the top of the PAF serve as indicators to see how strong the tension/support is, which is divided into 3 levels. 1-hole for light tension 2-holes for medium tension 3-holes for strong tension.
DTS-Tension
The DTS Tension System features tension in two different strengths on either side of the shoe. This dual tension helps focus the power of the foot forward onto the big toe further enhancing the shoe’s asymmetrical shape.
SRT
The soft M50 rubber layer is one of the core technologies of the SCARPA climbing shoe Softline. The rubber encloses the forefoot area and ensures perfect power transmission to the toes, maximum adhesion to friction footsteps and incomparably sensitive toehooking abilities.
