This model is fitted with an Up & Down lift (TSL patent) to reduce the effects of walking uphill and downhill (the back of the binding passes under the frame to keep the foot flat and prevent it from pressing against the toe of the shoe). Very happy with these racquets. I strongly advise women to stay on the 418 model and not the 438. The 418s are already wide enough. Well you just have to get used to it.
Easy adjustments, very good grip on snow and icy snow. The knives below are really reassuring, including on slopes.
The system with the DOWN position is a real comfort downhill.
I really don't regret my purchase.
Only drawback, they scratch very quickly, and when handling them, you really have to be careful where you put your hands and fingers! But that's the game!

I am very happy with my purchase. Very easy to adjust the bindings. The boot closure is very solid and blocks the foot. The DOWN position on the descent is excellent. This model does not have a snowshoe boot lock.
Cons: weight. On a hike for several km (> 15km) it certainly makes itself felt.
Addnature: very fast delivery, everything perfect.
