Grip 2.5 is a ultra light mat weighing just 340 g with a pack size of 12 x 26 cm. Yet it has great insulation properties compared to the weight. The low weight and size are the result of three things. The hybrid foam zone construction is dimensioned to offer most support in areas of heavy body pressure and less in lighter parts, where it reduces both weight and pack size without compromising protection nor comfort. The body shaped fit developed via studies of sleeping patterns cuts off all unnecessary weight, and the new and ultra light 20D Polyester Diamond Rip Stop shell has a high strength to weight ratio.

For our purpose (making as light as possible packed treks) this sleeping mat is sufficient, but do not expect a 5 star luxury mattress. You just do not sleep on the floor, but it is enough for me to sleep well. Not suitable for prince (es) on the pea. ;-)
