The Bjerg Ms Mid is a durable boot for touring and everyday use with a last that is adapted to the male anatomy. The Bjerg is part of the Lundhags Omni family, a high quality boot series developed for the border area between mountains and city. It is perfect if you are looking for a robust boot with a wide range of uses. The boot has a comfortable upper material made of Heinen Terracare split leather. The boot and foot are protected all the way down to the sole by a waterproof layer of Liba Smart TPU (made from 100% recycled material), which is extra thick at the toe and heel. For extra comfort, the Bjerg has extra cushioning around the ankles and a three-layer insole. Excellent slip resistance is provided by an aggressive Vibram-Pepe outsole.

This shoe is, if not outright garbage, certainly not to be trusted. After two years of use, I can only conclude that the money was wasted (and the boots too): - Totally useless waterproofing. After an hour or so in wet grass, your feet are full of dung. Walking in puddles is out of the question. - Despite the Vibram sole, they are nasty slippery. The rubber is too hard and the pattern is bad. - The insole is like a sponge that absorbs water. Be prepared to dry soles long after you've managed to get the shoe dry. - Rubber parts have already started to dry and crack. I thought Lundhags made good stuff? These shoes are just as bad as boots for SEK 500 at some outlet. Not close to Meindl and other quality shoes.
