Have used the shoes a few times now. Very nice to walk in from the beginning. Have not had shoe chafing. Spacious in the toes, which I appreciate. The foot is kept warm and dry. No pre-treatment (eg impregnation) of the shoe is needed, according to Keen's website - smooth! A bonus is that the shoe looks good! The only thing I have left to wish for is a little more grip in the sole on slippery surfaces.
