Made from G-1000 HeavyDuty Eco S with a padded base and recycled nylon inside. Both the main compartment and inside pocket have zippers and there is also an easily accessible zippered pocket on the back against the body.

G-1000 is robust, but G-1000 Heavy Duty goes one step further. It is impregnated with Greenland Wax on both sides, making it tougher than ever. But because it is less breathable than the original G-1000, Fjällräven uses it for products where durability is more important than air permeability. For example, as a reinforcing material in places that are particularly stressed and for many of the bags and backpacks.
