The Skilled Socks 400 are perfect for colder temperatures. The functional socks are designed to prevent the formation of blisters caused, for example, by the lacing of the boots. The socks act like a second skin, as they do not slip even during higher levels of sporting activity and retain their optimum fit. On the back, there is a stabilizing elastic band that reinforces and tightens the front so that the sock sits firmly on the skin. A breathable mesh membrane is used on the instep of the foot to wick moisture away from the body. Additional reinforcement is provided at the heel.

Everything is ideal: not too long, not too short, good fit, does not wear out, very breathable and quick-drying, no bubbles, slipping or chafing. Due to merino wool, they look a little different after many washes, but that's just an optical thing. I use them for all seasons. If necessary, a thicker version from the same manufacturer in winter.
