Wool socks won’t smell quite as bad at the end of the day, but they don’t dry out as well as synthetic socks if they do get wet.
Balaclavas
A balaclava is ideal for keeping your face warm on cold and windy days on the mountain. Consider choosing a balaclava that has holes for your mouth or nose – these will let you protect more of your face without building up condensation.
Overalls
When it comes to children’s ski clothes, you have an extra option on top of jackets and pants: ski overalls. Overalls are insulated onesies that can hold heat much more efficiently than multiple garments. Plus, they’re often less expensive than ski jackets and pants for growing children.
