Comfortable, functional and casual: VAUDE´s lightweight midlayer is an ideal all-rounder for mountain sports. The stretchy knit fabric is exceptionally comfortable, while the inner waffle structure improves moisture transport outward and provides comfortable insulation. The jacket is an ideal complement to a hardshell in rainy weather; in mild temperatures it's a casual hoody for climbing, slack lining or just hanging out. The textile materials are certified in accordance with the bluesign system, the world's strictest standard for environmental protection and worker safety. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally friendly, functional products made from sustainable materials.
Stretch The high elasticity of the material is achieved by an elastane content in the material or by the way the material is knitted or woven. The stretchability of the material increases the wearing comfort and performance of the garment, as it offers great freedom of movement.
Bluesign Product Bluesign is the world's strictest standard for environmental protection, consumer protection and occupational safety. All environmentally relevant production aspects are critically examined and permanently optimized: Material use, energy, water, waste water, exhaust air, noise, waste, handling of hazardous substances. A bluesign product may only bear this mark if at least 95 % of all product components have been certified by bluesign.
Green Shape Green Shape is the VAUDE seal of approval for products that are manufactured in a particularly environmentally friendly manner. This includes the complete production cycle from development and production to maintenance and usability after use. The criteria for this are strict. The products must consist either of at least 90 percent organically grown cotton, recycled materials or the Tencel wood fibre. Furthermore, they must have been dyed with the environmentally friendly dyeing process VAUDE eColour or meet the world's strictest environmental textile standard Bluesign. VAUDE's goal is the best for man and nature.
Fair Wear Foundation VAUDE is committed to good working conditions and fair wages for all and is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF). VAUDE has achieved the highest status as an FWF member with the Leader Status.
