Even in light rain, the upper sucks fully and shows spots, a little later, the functional clothing is wet under these water-absorbent areas. About half an hour in the rain, the poncho runs. I am very well-versed outdoor, have been on several Long Distance Walks (sometimes solo over several weeks) in Iceland, Norway, Scotland and Finland. I know the functioning of the material used and wear under the poncho functional laundry (layer system).
I contacted the Vaude repair center with the defective article, on request to Vaude, here:

The Vaude customer service:
- recommends me to impregnate a brand new poncho with Nikwax!?
- feeds me after sending the poncho with standard mails.
- Instead of replacing the defective defective new product, the poncho is now checked by the repair department for weeks.
- apologizes cheap, with 'we have high season' - we have customers also high season.
- announces that you could not deliver any substitute poncho to Switzerland for 'customs' reasons.
- The case has been open for a month now and a replacement poncho has not arrived yet.
I would like for the poncho 0 stars (product quality) and for customer service 0 star rating, but that is not possible.
I will now buy a poncho from another manufacturer.
