UYN Coreshell Vest Men blackboard melange/black (blackboard melange/black)
UYN have developed this thermal and windproof vest with thinking about the occasions when you have to face big temperature changes: when you are climbing in altitude or during the long rides, when you leave at dawn in the icy air and get warm at the first rays of the sun. Thanks to its design and high-tech materials, it protects and warms the core while letting the back of the body breathe. On the front, protection is maximum thanks to a tripled-layer waterproof and windproof fabric bonded with UYN’s intelligent Membrain 115 membrane. The inner layer is made with bodymapped Buffercone technology, which retains body heat and creates an insulating cushion. At the back, the lighter, breathable fabric allows moisture to escape to prevent condensation on the inside. The Coreshell vest is designed to be used in combination with a jacket or thermal shirt. Once folded, it takes up very little space and can be easily carried in the rear pocket.
Aerofit
The combination of design, materials and technology allows the garment to remain perfectly close to the body, like a second skin, but without excessive compression.
Buffercone
The human body produces heat, the most effective form of insulation is that which prevents its loss. UYN technicians have developed a material with an innovative structure that is highly effec-tive in retaining heat. This permits a three-dimensional, baggy surface structure in which heated air is trapped in socalled “buffer cones”, thus generating a buffer zone. Unlike conventional fleece materials, the thickness of the structure can be adjusted as desired. Based on the map-ping of the heat distribution produced by the human body, it is possible to create areas with high, medium and low insulating power.
Membrain 115
UYN's exclusive intelligent membrane, waterproof and breathable at the same time. Its distinctive feature is its very high extension capacity. Unlike traditional membranes, Membrain 115 does not limit the elasticity of the fabric to which it is paired, allowing it to be flexible and comfortable.
