Aluminium
Aluminium is a lightweight material characterised by fast and even heat distribution. This avoids burning in the middle of the frying pan. The hard surface also offers good protection against scratches and wear. Ultralight aluminium is 50 % stronger than conventional aluminium. This means that a smaller amount of the material is required during production, which makes the storm stoves lighter.

I bought this part as a light pot stand, for which it is excellently suitable. As a windbreak it is probably only in windy conditions, otherwise you should always use an additional aluminum folding windscreen, which also encloses the pot.
What is missing is a recess on one side, in order to be able to operate the Trangia burner with a mounted regulating ring (but you can easily saw yourself because of aluminum).
