On the comfort side, the MTN Racer 2 offers the new ZipFoam midsole with several degrees of hardness and an additional cushioning, 5mm thick Ortholite insole. Nevertheless, it is also and especially on technically demanding trails very stable and sufficiently hard to do without a Rockplate.
