As a sleeping mat, especially if you're on grass. Of course it is not supercomfortable, but surprisingly hot.

Have the mat in the very warm June tested, it was perfect, over colder nights I can not say isolation.
It is, of course, not the softest bed, but surprisingly comfortable.
