Product description
So iLL Free Range Pro Climbing Shoes blue spruce (blue spruce)
The Free Range Pro is next level. We’ve taken all the things you love about the original Free Range and changed some technical features to improve performance. We started by making a stiffer toe box and adding rubber to the toe to increase toe hooking capabilities. The Free Range pro also offers a split outsole for flexibility, along with a stiff midsole for better heel hooking, to keep you confident on all those projects requiring extreme foot precision.

Very good!

To the original
At first I was a bit skeptical, almost disappointed! According to the manufacturer, they should have the same seat as the New Zero Pro (my previous shoes), but there is a real difference! The Free Range Pro feels a bit narrower, but doesn't sit as tightly, which is most noticeable in the heel! At first I wasn't so sure if it would hold up with hooks, but I've never slipped out and probably never will! Now that he's climbed in properly and I've gotten used to the slightly firmer sole, I'm getting along wonderfully with it! And the difference between the two models is minimal in my opinion. The Free Range Pro is a bit better on small steps and edges but not quite as sensitive as the new Zero pro, which in turn has a small advantage on volume or when smearing! In the end it's just a matter of taste, if you like super sensitive shoes you can go for the New Zero Pro and if you like a touch more support try the Free Range Pro
