The Slokker ski helmet Balo has an orange photochromatic and polarizing visor mounted. The visor adapts to the given light conditions by tinting dark within a very short time when exposed to sunlight. This means that this visor is optimal for bad weather due to the orange tint and the polarization and at the same time also protects against sunlight through the darkening.

The helmet has an ABS shell with 12 ventilation openings. The upper adjustable ventilation openings are easy to open and close with a slider. This also works perfectly with gloves and cold hands. The special feature of this helmet is the attached movable visor. By this special addition the helmet is suitable outstanding for eyeglass wearers. The photocromatic and polarizing lens is made of polycarbonate and changes tint due to the strength of the sun rays (ultraviolet rays) hitting the visor. In strong light the visor darkens, in low light the lens becomes brighter. Suitable for many sports, especially in changing weather conditions.
