Disappointed by the quality of the material mix after a few tours with the Scarpa Triolet, tours in products from La Sportiva followed, which came to an abrupt end in the ephemeral PU damping wedge. It doesn't matter whether it's the "Trango" series or "Nepal", "Karakorum" - the PU damping wedge says goodbye after a few tours below -10 degrees Celsius as a cube fracture. Scarpa's Mont Blanc arrived and immediately impressed with the fit, stability in critical zones and the material used. So far, "La Sportiva" was my everyday shoe "with a few caveats". With the "Mont Blanc" I mothball "Trango and Co". It convinces in material, workmanship and stability. I think Scarpa has clearly outperformed some providers here.
