Salewa's best-selling tent for over 25 years – the Sierra Leone II is a 2-person, 3-season, double wall dome tent for hiking and trekking trips.

The robust and reliable modified dome design meets the requirements of long trekking tours by offering large amounts of internal space (including extended length for taller users) and ensuring good weather protection, wind stability and ventilation at a low weight. It has a ripstop polyamide flysheet with a 5,000 mm water column. The ventilation system has side vents to allow you to regulate the fresh air supply.

The Sierra Leone II has a generous vestibule for cooking or gear storage and dual entrances to improve interior comfort. Further features include: lightweight and solid, rapid set-up 7001 T6 aluminium poles; high-quality zippers and guy lines; gearloft; rainproof entrance.

Excellent tent with some flaws

Nervous was the first time to organize the footprint for the shelter. At CampingKuhn I finally found one. Because of lack of time I could not test the FP yet, but does not seem to cover the apses, is extreeem easy for it. To Shelter: The poles, the herring and last but not least the tent look very high-quality processed. Great plus point is that the inside & outdated coupled. The 2.9kg "Trailwight" I never tested, including the whole accessories, the shelter is about 3.1kg. Fully acceptable weight for a 2 person semigod of this size with two apsides! Up to 5 * Soo, then I ventured into the test setup. And no, I'm not building a tent for the first time. But with this Salewa, much effort was required to introduce the end of the large gestures into the eyelets. Honestly, I am a little afraid that I tear this out. Why damn it again can not as with Nordisk an ADJUSTABLE band at the eyelets attach, that one the Ausenzelt individually can pull down?
