The Fanes TirolWool Celliant Parka offers functional simplicity and protection when used in the mountains and in the city and is equipped with a PFC-free DWR finish (DWR=Durable Water Repellent) and welded seams.

Powertex is a proprietary coating developed specifically for mountain activities and is highly breathable so that water vapour molecules released during perspiration can escape from the inside of clothing. And the TirolWool Celliant hybrid insulation consists of wool from Tyrolean mountain sheep and thermoreactive Celliant minerals, which conduct the radiated far infrared energy back to the body to keep you warm longer. This attractive parka with its Athletic Fit has an insulated, close-fitting hood with high, integrated collar and ergonomically-shaped sleeves with Velcro fasteners at the sleeve ends. It also includes hand warmer pockets and a high-quality, soft and silky lining.

TirolWool Celliant
Salewa uses regional, high alpine and fair trade wool, which offers superior heat regulation, breathability and insulating properties that stay even when wet. TirolWool is washed, brushed and dyed in Europe to reduce CO2 emissions and guarantee high quality standards for your jacket material. Celliant, a blend of 13 thermoreactive minerals, is incorporated into recycled polyester fibers and blended with TirolWool fibers to support the natural benefits of wool. Powertex
Powertex fabric is highly breathable, windproof and waterproof, water-repellent and durable. It's light, soft and comfortable at the same time. It also offers excellent value for money. During aerobic activities, the Powertex membrane diverts moisture directly away from the body by distributing it on the fabric's surface. In this way, internal condensation is reduced and evaporation is accelerated. At the same time, water-penetration is prevented so the internal climate remains pleasantly warm and dry. Powertex fabrics are available in two, two and a half and three layer laminates.
