Product description
Robens Voyager 2EX Tent green (green)
The two-person Voyager 2EX is a stable tunnel tent thanks to features that include the new ripstop polyester outer, flat pole sleeves and Yunan alloy poles. The large extended porch is perfect for expedition pack storage or for foul weather relaxation that is much appreciated by self-supported trekkers, cyclists and other adventurers. Low vents assist airflow to minimise condensation.

I bought the old model, the opsrey 2 ex in 2019 and rode it about fifty times. For more than 15 days the floor of my inner tent is no longer waterproof. Indeed, placing the tent on damp grass (every evening due to the rosé) leads directly to having the tent floor soaked. It is inexplicable for a product at this price there, and whose durability is not indicated on this site.
I do not recommend it to anyone who wants to use it for more than two weeks.

Different than expected!

Since I have not received a response from Robens for 2 months, I would like to share my experience with the Voyager 2EX here: I have been an enthusiastic owner of a Robens Greenhawk tent for years. It accompanied me on my motorcycle trips for almost 10 years. But this spring a new tent was needed because the signs of wear and tear on the Greenhawk were too great.
After much back and forth, I decided on the Voyager 2ex thanks to the large apse. Unfortunately I had to find out that the quality of the tent no longer corresponds to that of the Greenhawks.
You write about luminous zipper flaps: Unfortunately this is not the case! The guy ropes are also no longer reflective. You have to buy the reflective guy ropes separately!
According to your description, the upper ventilation openings can be adjusted from the inner tent. Unfortunately, this is not the case either. The picture on your website is misleading and unfortunately no longer corresponds to the facts. (You can also see the old glowing zipper flaps on it!)
You write that the low-level ventilation openings support ventilation and thus minimize condensation. Unfortunately, this does not correspond to reality at all. Despite the additional tent floor (bought separately), the tent was completely soaked from condensation every morning. Even opening the tent entrance overnight did not bring any improvement. There is simply no ventilation.
In addition, it remained extremely warm in the inner tent during the night (there were no extreme summer temperatures). This is certainly due not only to the poor ventilation but also to the smaller mesh insert of the inner tent (mosquito net) compared to the Greenhawk. Speaking of mosquito net: in the 2020 version, the mosquito net at the tent entrance has also been rationalized away; a pity.
The water column of the soil is again given as 10,000. With the Voyager 2ex, the wetness (grass floor) in the sleeping area became noticeable after just one night (moisture was visible). With the Greenhawk, on the other hand, I could have paddled in the lake without getting wet.
The Voyager 2ex will no longer be with me on my next trips.
