R-value
The R-value (= heat transfer coefficient) indicates how well the mat conducts heat and is used to indicate its insulation properties. The higher the R-value, the better the mat insulates in regards to how much heat is lost through it. Therefore, the R-value can be used to assess the temperature properties of insulating mats.

Disappointed

I'm on the road for years with the Trail Pro and thought I could save something on the pack size. For me, the mat is nothing. Luckily she just had it for a weekend. The first night I had to blow out of the tent and with the pump bag. On the second evening I blew her up before going to bed again and then it went. Since it was about 2 degrees I felt that the mat was too cold and my tent neighbors said they were also very loud ..
Stay true to my old mattress
