When I first held the jacket in my hands, it was difficult for me to imagine it would give a lot of warmth as it is so thin. However, even at temperatures near freezing and with a thin sweater underneath it is more than sufficient. I wear at 1.91m and 88 kilos in size M, then fits tight, but is not too tight. Even a slightly thicker sweater fits under it. Due to its low weight and excellent insulation, it is the ideal jacket for hand luggage, it is relatively chic and can sometimes be worn in the city. All in all, the quite high price is justified. In the meantime, wear them even better than my Arcteryx LT Hoody (which, however, keeps a bit warmer).

Als ich die Jacke das erste Mal in den Händen hielt, konnte ich mir nur schwer vorstellen, dass sie viel Wärme spendet, da sie dermassen dünn ist. Allerdings ist sie selbst bei Temperaturen nahe dem Gefrierpunkt und mit einem dünnen Pulli drunter noch mehr als ausreichend. Ich trage bei 1.91m und 88 Kilo Grösse M, liegt dann eng an, aber ist noch nicht zu eng. Selbst ein etwas dickerer Pullover passt noch drunter. Durch ihr geringes Gewicht und hervorragende Isolierung ist sie die ideale Jacke fürs Handgepäck, dazu ist sie relativ schick und kann auch mal in der Stadt getragen werden. Alles in allem ist der doch durchaus hohe Preis gerechtfertigt. Trage sie mittlerweile sogar lieber als meine Arcteryx LT Hoody (welche allerdings noch einen Tick wärmer hält).

The jacket has a very small pack size and donates a surprising amount of warmth. It offers a lot of freedom of movement, as it is not so bulky and over-inflated. The upper is very thin (that's why the jacket weighs so little) and so should be treated carefully - a walk across the country through a dense forest I would recommend only with caution - I could imagine that the substance einreíss when you hanging on a branch. But also for this Patagonia offers a great repair service. Size M is absolutely suitable for a 1.82m tall person. Up to what temperatures the jacket actually keeps warm, I can not say yet. Especially when you are active, but one gets warm very quickly (walking / walking). Insofar also great for the city.

Die Jacke hat ein sehr kleines Packmaß und spendet überraschend viel Wärme. Sie bietet sehr viel Bewegungsfreiheit, da sie nicht so klobig und zu sehr aufgebauscht ist. Das Obermaterial ist sehr dünn (deswegen wiegt die Jacke auch so wenig) und sollte insofern vorsichtig behandelt werden - einen Spaziergang querfeldein durch einen dichten Wald würde ich nur mit Bedacht empfehlen - ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass der Stoff einreíßt, wenn man an einem Ast hängen bleibt. Aber auch hierfür bietet Patagonia einen tollen Reperaturservice an. Größe M ist für eine 1,82m große Person absolut passend. Bis zu welchen Temperaturen die Jacke tatsächlich warm hält, kann ich noch nicht sagen. Vor allem wenn man aktiv ist, wird einem jedoch sehr schnell warm (Wandern/Spazieren). Insofern auch super für die Stadt geeignet.
