Your story begins. With a simple, progressive design, the Rook 65 is a highly innovative trekking backpack designed for comfort and a premium fit.
The Rook 65 trekking backpack features an easily adjustable ventilated AirSpeed mesh back system with a large ventilation space. This allows the body to sink into the hip belt and lumbar area of the backpack, which significantly increases overall comfort and enables very stable and supportive load transfer. The adjustment of the back length is very intuitive and takes place via an innovative step adjustment system. Two buckles set at different heights to attach the load control straps to the upper frame also ensure that the shoulder straps sit comfortably in every position. A large, heavily padded hip belt provides a very comfortable fit and supports the carrying of heavier loads in the backpack.
The Rook trekking backpack offers everything you need for several-day backpack tours: a large capacity with access via the upper lid and the lower sleeping bag compartment. An inner partition wall, which can be removed when not in use, creates a separate lower compartment. Several compression straps ensure that the backpack remains stable without obstructing access to the mesh water bottle compartments. Two hip belt compartments and a large lid compartment with key clip facilitate access to smaller items.
The Rook is compatible with Osprey's Daylite Daypacks. These smaller backpacks can easily be strapped to the larger trekking backpack and increase the capacity. It is also possible to leave the large backpack in the camp and take a shorter trip with the daypack only.
Thanks to its practical and intuitive features, the Rook is up to any challenge.
