As a tea junky, I tested the kettle extensively while on a camping holiday and came to the following conclusion: the appearance and the matt gray coating are great, the heat from the gas cooker is well absorbed and water boils quickly. For one cup (I used “standard size” enamel cups) you need half a kettle and for two cups you need a whole kettle. More is not possible in the small version. The kettle should not be filled to the brim, otherwise the lid will lift and even fly off when the water boils, and it gushes out of the outlet. You can hear the "kettles" when the water is boiling and the water vapor rises white from the outlet. The only drawback: Unfortunately, the plastic handle does not insulate as well as expected: If the water is at the boiling point, you should either take the kettle down immediately AND not be squeamish or use a rag. Therefore I can unfortunately only give four stars. Still, I don't regret the purchase.
