I bought this as an extension to the nordisk troms mesh cabin, because I found my smaller tarp 3x3m too small to use it in bad weather.
But I can't combine these 2 systems efficiently, and a silicone tarp of 4m+ is barely tight and wind stable. After all, silicone sail is already elastic. the sail is pushed all the way down by the wind.
This just looks like an interesting sail to me to tension higher with a rope at each attachment point, and a rope threaded through the ridge loops to keep the top taut so the ridge isn't pushed down by the wind.
Expensive but good quality.
