MSR Hubba NX Tent grey (grey)
The Hubba NX Solo Backpack Tent offers the most comfortable features available in a free-standing, ultra-light tent. Designed for three seasons, the tent is lightweight and compact. It's easy to take with you whether you're alone on a busy route or in the wilderness of Alaska. The optimised symmetrical geometry and straight floor of the tent provide maximum space. After all, they are not outdoors to feel confined. Thanks to other precision features such as the StayDry door or the adjustable awning with ventilation, they feel just as comfortable in it as in their own living room. DuraShield Coating: The polyurethane coating developed by MSR is twice as durable as conventional polyurethane coatings. Fast & Light Construction: Optional tent pitching only with awning (with or without tent underlay) to save weight. StayDry: An MSR design element that directs water away from the tent entrance and prevents drops in the main part of the tent.

I was already using a predecessor of the Hubba NX. The current generation is yet another significant improvement: thinner and lighter fabrics that are still acceptably robust when used sensibly. Smaller detailed solutions such as the color coding of the upper and lower pairs of tabs, so that the door on the top tent is also on the right side. The water drainage above the RV is also very useful. The only recommendation: If the tent fields etc. are not completely clean, a tent pad makes sense, for example the right one from MSR.

A light, small and yet spacious tent. Set up very quickly and even be used as a standalone if necessary. Yes, the tent is more airy, but this is very good condensation avoided, in the tub but you are well protected and I find the tent itself very comfortable. Who wants it warmer, should rather buy the MSR Access (4 seasons), which is then more difficult. I prefer to dig into the tent and carry less load around with me.
I have the green version, in the tent the light is a bit more subdued but not dark. I bought another footprint, the tub seemed a bit thin of the material (if you want less weight, you have to cut corners somewhere). But I am completely satisfied with the tent.

The structure is self-explanatory and the weight is a big plus point. My first night I spent at 1900 meters in pouring rain and with a lot of wind - and stayed dry. The entry in the rain is a bit adventurous, but the awning is surprisingly large for the one. In addition, the tent height is comfortable. I would buy it again.
