Metal attachment seems weak

I have a medium harness for my puppy. It works, but the first thing I noticed is that the metal loop where the leash is attached seems very flimsy. I am getting a climbing carabineer to use instead and also attaching to a collar as back up. (For now I clip though both the loop and fabric handle.) I wouldn't recommend this as a permanent harness for a medium or large dog. I only use it as the puppy is still growing and will only need it for a few more weeks until he is big enough for his more Sturdy harness. (I also noticed another review that mentioned something similar and the dog ended up escaping. I agree that there is a design flaw. Maybe they will fix it in the newer models.)

Dishes not safe and can cause death

My dog was frightened while walking yesterday and wanted to run away. When we tried to hold it, the metal part with the gray fabric from the main part of the dishes was torn (see picture). He ran away in a moment and two hours later the police gave us the bad news of his death on the highway.
I will not recommend the dishes and I regret ignoring other reviews about the possible tearing of the metal part.
If you want to use this harness despite my rating, please use an additional dog collar as a double security.
