Hi, I can only say that the DriClime has been my absolute favorite jacket for years. It is extremely versatile and the perfect piece of clothing for small luggage. Whether as an additional warm layer in the evening at camp around the campfire or as an additional windproof insulation layer with a down jacket in winter - the Ether fits. It is nice that the jacket has an extremely comfortable wearing climate. Initially I was skeptical about the modification that the new model had regarding the hood, but in the end the new hood works just as well as the old one did (is my third ether :-) ) ... Advantage: Who doesn't like hoods, can put them away in the collar... if possible, the ether would also get 6 out of 5 stars from me :-)
