The Lupine SL B is the new front light with StVZO approval for handlebar mounting. The automatic daytime running light increases your visibility in road traffic. With its specially designed light image for the E-MTB, you get the most out of your riding skills at night and recognize every hidden obstacle in sufficient time. At the heart of the Lupine SL are 12 High Intensity LEDs and the world's first Dual Aspheric Lens System for bicycle lamps. Their extremely robust and high-quality aluminium body reliably protects the SL from shocks, dust and water. The SL is a special lupine. It is not only totally StVZO compliant, but also directs 100% of its 900 lumen right onto your path. Its light image is based on the model of a car headlight and is therefore absolutely glare-free for other road users.
The installation of the SL is very simple and absolutely compatible with e-bike motors from Bosch (except Bosch Classic Line). Installed by the specialist retailer, it receives its power directly via the Bosch light cable. This way the warranty of your e-bike remains completely untouched. In addition, the SL has a real approval for pedelecs under 25 km/h, in the accordance with the StVZO.
A light cable may be required for connection to the e-bike. If a light cable is not yet available, it must be routed through the frame. The light cable is not included in the scope of delivery! In addition, the light output on the motor must be activated. Activation can, for example, be carried out by a licensed Bosch bicycle dealer or by Bosch Service.

Bosch motor systems up to model year 2016 have a 6 V (8 W) light output. In this case, the light output of the Lupine SL is 500 lumens. From model year 2017, all Bosch drives with dual-button walk assist activation will have a 12 V (16 W) light output. This results in a light output of 900 lumens. The SL automatically detects the input voltage of 6 V or 12 V and assigns the appropriate current.
