The Bjerg Low is a durable hiking boot.
Heinen Terracare split leather on the outside, an exoskeleton made of Liba Smart and TPU coating. For added comfort, the upper area around the ankle is now padded and has a new 3-layer insole. A layer of Liba-Smart-expanded TPU protects toes and heel, and a thin TPU layer similar to the classic shell boots provides additional lateral protection against water.

In terms of water resistance, the shoe is lacking. Even small amounts of water collect in the lower area of the lacing and get inside after a few steps via the very thin tongue leather. In this I can fully confirm the previous reviews. This is a bad design. It's not about marches through water, just a few steps on dewy meadows are enough. The seams in my front shoe are now coming loose after a good 9 months, I didn't wear them at all in winter.

A super nice walking shoe. Good damping - and it's pretty too. But it's narrow, so it's easy to step over, and if the grass is just a little wet... you get wet feet. I deduct one star for narrow sole and one for wet feet. But on good weather days in pleasant terrain it is a five-star shoe.

Question marks about the long tongue, if a lot of shit will collect there, hardly anything that affects function, but maybe longevity? But - the bigger problem - why such a narrow sole. The shoe is wide, even for my feet, but the sole - narrow as a skate. Wobbly and nothing too weak ankles.
