It is possible to go without food for two weeks or more, but without suffi cient water, humans cannot survive for more than 3 or at most 4 days. The TRANS-OCEAN Emergency Drinking Water Rations comply with the SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) requirements for drinking water emergency rations on life rafts and life boats and have a minimum shelf life of 5 years. The TRANS-OCEAN Emergency Drinking Water Rations are packed in extremely robust sachets of 100 ml (ration size). Due to their handy packaging, the drinking water emergency rations are parti-cularly suited on the go, when travelling, in the car, when engaging in outdoor activities and as emergency stockpiling. They can be stored at temperatures ranging from -50 to +70 degrees. Repeated thawing and freezing does not aff ect the sensory properties and the drinking water quality.
