Addnature Tests:super.natural yoga clothing
Namasté, dear readers! Are you also crazy about yoga!? Here at Addnature HQ, the popularity of this ancient Indian practice is going from strength to strength! It’s not surprising when you think about it – hardly any other sport offers such an effective mix of a workout, flexibility training and relaxation. Christina, responsible for our newsletter and campaigns, is a confirmed yogi - the perfect candidate to really put super.natural’s yoga outfit through its paces. Here’s what she had to say:

“Ever since I first got on the mat 8 years ago, I’ve been a massive fan of yoga. I love the fast-starting flow as well as the feeling of being completely at one with myself. It's like meditation in motion. But, of course, there are also some very strenuous and challenging positions involved. For me, yoga is the optimal combination of stretching, strength and balance training! These days I practice 2-4 times per week, preferably Ashtanga yoga, an athletic style in which you always do the same sequence with the emphasis on breath (Prana), focus (Drishti) and body locks (Bandhas). I also find that it makes a great complement to Yin yoga, which is a bit calmer as you stay longer in one position (asana), targeting the deeper tissues between the muscles. Being such a big yoga fan, I was really looking forward to trying out this stylish outfit from super.natural. I already had a pair of trousers from the brand that I really love but had never seen a mix of merino wool and polyester quite like this for yoga clothing before.

First impressions: wow, fits great!
I liked the design and the colours from the start, especially the trousers with their camouflage pattern. The innovative material mix also made a great impression. I was really impressed by how comfy the trousers were, fitting perfectly to my body. Trousers made of pure polyester are often very tight. While this is good for yoga, it can also quickly feel quite restrictive. With the super.natural pants it was different, and they never felt at all uncomfortable! The cross cut at the waist was also very flattering. Another clever detail is the small zipped pocket at the front which is designed in such a way that it never disturbs nor adds unpleasant pressure when performing certain poses. The shirt has a wide, asymmetrical cut and is shorter at the front than at the back. For inverted positions you should tuck it into your trousers to stop it riding up and exposing your upper body, as with all similarly-cut tops.
The practical test: to the mat!
I tested the outfit both at both my favourite studio and on my balcony during private sessions. It was very flexible and adapted itself ideally to my movements. The bra supported where it should, without constricting too much. The outfit always felt good to wear and gave me full freedom of movement even while performing complicated stretches– just the way it should be! When the going got sweaty, moisture was reliably transported to the outside and the clothing never stuck unpleasantly to the body. I also didn’t notice any bad odours – a definite plus point for merino wool! Thanks to the wool content of the clothing, it’s somewhat warmer and the trousers are thicker than, for example, cotton leggings. For me, this is ideal, especially in cooler months, as I tend to get cold quickly.
