Designed and built with the collaboration of world class HOKA trail athletes, the Torrent boasts competitive credentials. Created as a trail racer, it incorporates the seemingly contradictory combination of cushioning and agility. The lightweight performance is made possible with a PROFLY midsole, providing a forgiving landing and responsive toe-off. High-traction rubber and aggressive lugs mean that when your feet are on the ground they’re sure of their footing. Marry that with a breathable upper and you’ve got a super lightweight, nimble, and technical trail racer that allows you to tackle a variety of terrain at any speed. Pedal to the metal.
PROFLY [intelligent cushioning] PROFLY is a dual-density midsole: softer in the heel for a cushioned landing and a higher-density foam in the forefoot for propulsion. It’s a forgiving landing with a responsive toe off.
Outer fabric support provides support and protection for toes and foot
Highly abrasion-resistant rubber material for durability in strategically important areas
Multidirectional studs for best grip on any terrain
The neutral shoe or cushioning shoe is equipped without pronation support (the lateral support of the foot). It is therefore particularly suitable for runners who have a regular rolling behaviour, i.e. who do not bend inwards or outwards when running. The neutral shoe can be used in competitions, fast training or long endurance sessions. The cushioning can vary depending on the intended use. In order to achieve a more direct ground contact in competition, it is advisable to use a slightly damped shoe. In training on hard surfaces or with long units, more cushioned shoes offer better comfort and protect the joints.
Hoka Torent works well in dry terrain, on gravel until mud or water appears.
Unfortunately, the Polish mountains have many muddy sections and wet scales.
The competition takes place in the summer when it rains the most.
The Hoka Torrent shoe is completely unsuitable for mountaineering, unless it is dry - it rarely happens.
Buying this shoe can be throwing money away.
Hoka Torent sprawdza się w terenie suchym, na szutrach, dopoki nie pojawi sie błoto lub woda.
Niestety polskie góry mają duzo blotnych odcinkow i mokrych skal.
Zawody odbywaja sie w lato gdy najwiecej pada.
But Hoka Torrent kompletnie nie sprawdza sie na biegach gorskich, chyba ze jest sucho -zdarza sie to rzadko.
Kupno tego buta moze byc wyrzuceniem pieniedzy w bloto.
