The new Clifton Edge sets a new standard for Hoka One One's popular Clifton model.
Its all-new foam and innovative geometries push know-how to its limits. Based on the ultra-light, incredibly smooth feel of the Clifton, the Edge's rear-extended sole creates a smoother heel impact. For the first time, an extremely durable foam is used, which is even lighter than all previous HOKA foams. With its unique sideways flared outsole, the Clifton Edge perfectly envelops the foot and creates a supportive base. The Edge takes you to the edge of your performance and beyond.
Stability The Clifton Edge features a symmetrical footbed for cushioning, with no additional technology. A design that provides exactly the support you need - nothing else.
Cushioning The Clifton Edge design with protective padding that also provides a responsive impression when you want to run faster.
Raised TPU yarn forms the premium finish with targeted support on the forefoot and along the eyelets
A padded strap provides increased comfort at the ankle
The new vertical pull loop makes it easier to tighten
Early Meta-Rocker ensures responsiveness
The new Ultra-Grip foam offers the lightweight, resilient, signature feel and characteristic cushioning of HOKA
The raised heel leads to a smoother tread and better rolling from heel to toe
The neutral shoe or cushioning shoe is equipped without pronation support (the lateral support of the foot). It is therefore particularly suitable for runners who have a regular rolling behaviour, i.e. who do not bend inwards or outwards when running. The neutral shoe can be used in competitions, fast training or long endurance sessions. The cushioning can vary depending on the intended use. In order to achieve a more direct ground contact in competition, it is advisable to use a slightly damped shoe. In training on hard surfaces or with long units, more cushioned shoes offer better comfort and protect the joints.
