A polyurethane foam wedge approximately 1.5 millimeters thicker in the midsole makes the rolling motion smoother, the cushioning noticeably better, and long walks more comfortable. The Banks' territory is demanding hikes from the low mountain ranges to the foothills of the Alps and easy mountain trails without heavy luggage. The GORE-TEX lining keeps feet reliably dry.
