Walking/walking wonderfully light and supple, very good grip with the Michelin Free Cross sole. Water resistance not yet tested, but with Gore-Tex that will not be a problem. The GTX makes it slightly warmer, so it is especially suitable for the mid-season or fast hikes in the mid-mountains with a light day-pack, for example. Don't foresee any problem in using it on via-ferrata/klettersteig courses.
