Swedish outdoor expert Fjällräven, founded by Ake Nordin in 1960, has almost 55 years of experience in outdoor clothing and equipment. In the early days of the company, all products were named after the generic term (e.g. "Jacket" or "Trousers") and numbered exactly. The number indicates how many identical predecessors the respective product has. The Anorak No.9, for example, has eight predecessor models with a similar design. Ake Nordin's work is cherished with the "Numbers Collection". The goal was to combine all brand values such as quality, functionality, sustainability, continuity and closeness to nature in a high-quality collection.
