G-1000
G-1000 is Fjällräven's own durable and versatile fabric, a proven outdoor classic for any type of adventure at any time of the year. The tightly woven fabric is made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton and has been waxed with Greenland Wax. This combination makes it extremely durable, highly breathable and also wind and water resistent.
PFC-free impregnation
This product has been coated with a fluorocarbon-free DWR-sealant (DWR = "durable water repellent"), in order to achieve a long-lasting, protective layer against oil, grease, dirt, and water.

I never bother doing ratings but I was really impressed with this purchase. The jacket is excellent, lovely fit, waterproof and true to size and looks really good as an all round jacket for my very fussy teenager. It helped that I got it in the sale with an extra 30% off. It was sent quickly and I was really happy with the arrangements for return etc, which was important for my peace of mind not having used this company before. I would use this company again.

Bought the first Fjällräven Greenland jacket in spring 2001. Cleaned twice in 17 years. Is a little faded, but still nice. Uses it daily after and spring.
It's just good quality! Good pockets, windproof, water repellent. And the zipper works 100% after so many years.
When the jacket was on offer, I bought one more !!
