I've looked at a lot of ice axes, from many different brands, and wanted one that could cover pretty much everything from alpine tours to steep firn. This Edelrid pimple has a lot of extras that I find very useful and have already tested.
The only small disadvantage is the additional weight of approx. 200-300g compared to other pimples, but you have to add that the Attila Tec has strength class T, all comparable ones only have B, which means that it is more stable, withstands more and therefore is a little harder.
Buy recommendation for everyone who wants a versatile ice ax with well thought-out extras.
