Polartec has introduced a new material to the market: Polartec Alpha - an innovation in the field of insulation. The aim was to develop a warming material with very good breathability. And this has been a convincing success. In other words: you don't overheat as quickly in this jacket when you move. This fact makes the jacket ideal for stop-and-go activities, for example, or when there is a significant difference in temperature (e.g. when you switch back and forth a lot between indoors and outdoors). Of course, this also means that the jacket is not quite as warm as other insulated jackets, as heat can escape more easily due to the special processing of the material.
