The focus for Colting Wetsuits’ new wetsuit model SWIMRUN Sr03 has therefore been to develop a wetsuit that is optimised for speed and agility on land but at the same time has enough surface power to provide the user with a balanced and optimal position in the water. By changing Colting's wetsuit design from scratch, Colting Wetsuits can now offer one of the lightest and cleverest wetsuits for Swimrun on the market.
To get maximum flexibility yet also maintain sufficient surface power, Colting have chosen to use a neoprene of the highest quality, and in order to combine speed with flexibility, they have optimised the wetsuit’s design with the help of different neoprene thicknesses. In order to get a thin and elastic wetsuit around the hips and thighs, and to optimise the surface power, Colting have integrated so-called Power Thigh. Power Thigh are panels which are placed on the thighs and are made in a water resistant natural rubber which has as an incredible surface capacity while the rubber does not absorb water. By using integrated power thigh, you get optimal balance and position in the water while you get your hips and legs higher, even if you use the shoes during a swim.
