A double jacket, also known as a 3-in-1 jacket, is a winter-proof jacket that combines the advantages of a hard and softshell. The softshell can be easily removed from the hardshell via zippers or press studs and then zipped or buttoned back in. Both jackets can also be worn individually in spring, summer or autumn in varied temperature and weather conditions. The outer jacket is robust, wind and waterproof whilst the inner jacket is soft, warming, breathable and moisture-regulating.
