Product description

Alpina Rootage Helmet black-neon-yellow (black-neon-yellow)

If you have the Alpina Rootage on your head, you are best protected on the trail. Maximum safety, optimum fit and the best possible climate control of the interior. These are the main characteristics of the Enduro helmet from Alpina.
For maximum safety, Alpina Rootage uses the high-performance material carbon. Carbon fibre plates are incorporated into the outer shell of the helmet to make the helmet more resistant. The edges of the helmet are refined and additionally protected with Edge Protect, an additional ceramic shell.
Inserts made of polycarbonate reinforce the large ventilation openings, which together with internal channels supply the rider's head with the best possible fresh air. Alpina Rootage can be used not only to rock the trails, but also to manage sweaty climbs. Despite its extremely hard outer shell, the helmet has a super soft core.
The washable pads are made of COOLMAX material and nestle comfortably against the head. The Run System Ergo Flex ensures an optimal fit. The fitting system impresses with its filigree construction and fixes the helmet evenly to the head 360 degrees around. A helmet cannot be adapted more individually, smoother and more comfortably. A decisive advantage on rough trails.
The Alpina Rootage can also be combined with a goggle. An integrated hook at the rear and the adjustable sign at the front make it possible. Flow, nature, adrenaline: that's what you're looking for on the trail. With the Alpina Rootage you will certainly find what you are looking for.
Custom Fit
Custom Fit is an adjustment system at the back of the head that allows you to adjust the height of the Run System in several stages. This allows the optimum fit of the helmet to be adjusted for a wide range of head shapes. Pressure points are a thing of the past, the fit of the helmet is perfect and safety is increased.
Ergomatic
Proven hundreds of thousands of times and used on all Alpina helmets: the belt buckle with the red push button and multi-stage automatic snap-in mechanism. Ergomatic can be operated with one hand - you can loosen the strap uphill, tighten it downhill - and in the event of a fall it is not possible for the locking mechanism to open automatically.
Edge Protect
Edge Protect is an additional polycarbonate sheet that refines Inmold helmets. It covers edges on the underside of the helmet. This protects the Hi-EPS and increases the longevity of the helmet. At the same time, the neck and shoulder area of the rider is protected against injuries from the helmet in the event of an impact and contact with the lower edge of the helmet.
Airflow Vents
One factor that strongly influences the wearing comfort is the ventilation of the helmet. The strategically sensible arrangement of the ventilation openings is decisive for optimum ventilation of the interior. The air is directed into the interior, directed along the head and can then flow out again at the rear. The head is therefore always pleasantly air-conditioned.
HI-EPS
The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrol). The material has microscopically small air chambers which absorb the forces acting on the helmet in the event of an impact. Hi-EPS provides optimum protection and at the same time enables extra-thin wall thicknesses and narrow helmet shapes.
inmold
In the Inmold production process, the polycarbonate helmet shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under great heat and pressure. This creates a large-area and inseparable connection between the upper and lower shell. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable.
Ceramic Shell
All Alpina helmets manufactured using the Inmold process receive a robust Ceramic Shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched under high heat onto the shape of the later helmet and pressed under high pressure onto the Hi-EPS body and thermally connected to it. The Ceramic Shell is characterized by several qualities: It is break- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic.
Carbon Tec
Carbon Tec provides the best possible protection. The high-performance material carbon is processed in the Inmold process. The integrated carbon plates in the outer shell make the helmet more resistant. The forces acting on the helmet at certain points are absorbed by the carbon fibres, distributed over a larger surface and thus weakened.
