The Alpina Hackney Disney is a cycling helmet with a wide range of uses for children and young people. It offers maximum safety and attracts all eyes with its Disney motives. Cars, Frozen II, Star Wars and Minnie Mouse tell exciting stories on the helmet that you simply have to love. But the Alpina Hackney Disney has even more to tell. The bike helmet has a face, winks friendly and also a bit cheeky with the front air vents. But most importantly: The Alpina Hackney Disney protects young people on all their adventures. Not only through the stable Inmold construction and the shock-absorbing EPS, but also with a guardian angel formed by the upper helmet openings.
The guardian angel can also be understood with a wink, but it is also a symbol with a clear statement: Alpina protects you. Always. Everywhere. The ventilation inlets form a face and a guardian angel, but are mainly responsible for optimal ventilation. The height-adjustable run system also ensures comfort. This makes adjustment child's play and ensures maximum wearing comfort. As an option, a plug-in light can be integrated into the rear of the Alpina Hackney Disney, allowing the kids to be noticed early by other road users even in poor light conditions. Because visibility brings safety.
In the Inmold production process, the helmet upper shell made of polycarbonate is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under great heat and strong pressure. This creates a large-area and inseparable connection between the upper and lower shell. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable.
The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopically small air chambers which absorb the forces that act on the helmet during an impact. Hi-EPS provides optimum protection and at the same time allows extra-thin wall thicknesses and narrow helmet shapes.
Custom Fit is an adjustment system at the back of the head that allows you to adjust the height of the Run System in several steps. This makes it possible to adjust the helmet's optimum fit for a wide range of head shapes. Pressure points are a thing of the past, the helmet fits perfectly and safety is increased.
Proven hundreds of thousands of times and used in all Alpina helmets: the belt buckle with the red push button and multi-stage automatic lock. Ergomatic can be operated with one hand - uphill you can loosen the strap, downhill you can tighten it - and in the event of a fall, the buckle mechanism cannot open by itself.
A helmet can only provide the best possible protection if it remains in the optimum position in the event of a collision. The adjustment and fixing of the two straps under the ear plays a decisive role in this. The Y-clip system guarantees an adjustment accurate to the millimetre - in seconds.
