Product description

Alpina Anzana Helmet black-neon-yellow (black-neon-yellow)

Large cobblestones, weathered, overgrown, blocked - this is the last thing left of the old pass road to Col d'Anzana. The remnants from days gone by are now the basis for something new. The rough stretch down to Tirano has become a popular trail for endurists. Because it is technically demanding and demands full concentration. This is precisely why maximum protection is required on the descent. That's exactly why it's the inspiration for the ALPINA ANZANA, which is priced in the enduro entry level segment and yet is equipped with top features from the ALPINA technology box, thus offering an outstanding price/performance ratio.

Above all, the high-quality Ergo Plus Run System guarantees optimum grip. With its fine grid it can be perfectly adapted to the head. In addition, the height of the adjustment system can be adjusted using the integrated Custom Fit System. The result is a secure fit and optimum protection. The outer shell of the helmet consists of a robust polycarbonate plate, which is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS using the inmould process. This results in a firm surface connection, from which an additional plus in stability results. The production at German sites ensures the highest level of production quality. The equipment list of the ALPINA ANZANA also includes the large shield that protects the viewing area, antibacterial and washable upholstery for high comfort and a fly screen in the front ventilation openings. You are perfectly prepared for your next enduro experience. Thanks to the new ALPINA ANZANA.
Run System Ergo Pro
The Run System allows the size of all Alpina helmets to be individually adjusted using a smooth-running rotating wheel. The two large wing-shaped headrests are striking features of the high-quality Ergo Pro Run System. They are made of a two-component mix of plastic and rubber. This guarantees maximum comfort. Since the year 2014 the Run System Ergo Pro is available in colours matching the helmet.
Y-Clip
A helmet can only provide the best possible protection if it remains in the optimum position in the event of an impact. The adjustment and fixation of the two straps under the ear plays a decisive role. The Y-Clip system guarantees millimetre-precise adjustment - in a matter of seconds.
Ergomatic
Proven hundreds of thousands of times and used on all Alpina helmets: the belt buckle with the red push button and multi-stage automatic snap-in mechanism. Ergomatic can be operated with one hand - you can loosen the strap uphill, tighten it downhill - and in the event of a fall it is not possible for the locking mechanism to open automatically.
Edge Protect
Edge Protect is an additional polycarbonate sheet that refines Inmold helmets. It covers edges on the underside of the helmet. This protects the Hi-EPS and increases the longevity of the helmet. At the same time, the neck and shoulder area of the rider is protected against injuries from the helmet in the event of an impact and contact with the lower edge of the helmet.
Airflow Vents
One factor that strongly influences the wearing comfort is the ventilation of the helmet. The strategically sensible arrangement of the ventilation openings is decisive for optimum ventilation of the interior. The air is directed into the interior, directed along the head and can then flow out again at the rear. The head is therefore always pleasantly air-conditioned.
HI-EPS
The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopically small air chambers which absorb the forces acting on the helmet in the event of an impact. Hi-EPS provides optimum protection and at the same time enables extra-thin wall thicknesses and narrow helmet shapes.
inmold
In the Inmold production process, the polycarbonate helmet shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under great heat and pressure. This creates a large-area and inseparable connection between the upper and lower shell. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable.
Ceramic Shell
All Alpina helmets manufactured using the Inmold process receive a robust Ceramic Shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched under high heat onto the shape of the later helmet and pressed under high pressure onto the Hi-EPS body and thermally connected to it. The Ceramic Shell is characterized by several qualities: It is break- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic.
Custom Fit
Custom Fit is an adjustment system at the back of the head that allows you to adjust the height of the Run System in several stages. This allows the optimum fit of the helmet to be adjusted for a wide range of head shapes. Pressure points are a thing of the past, the fit of the helmet is perfect and safety is increased.
