Just below the Maroispitze on the Arlberg massif, the Albonagrat stretches through the Tyrolean Alps. The sun flashes over the surrounding peaks. The cold morning air pinches in your nose and dry fresh snow crunches beneath you. The slope is untouched. Time to conjure up the first line of the day in the powder. Goose bumps. Of fun and excitement. Albona is not only the name of one of the most popular descents in Saint Anton, but also the name of ALPINA's freeride helmet in the price-performance segment. The ALPINA ALBONA is the little brother of the ALPINA MAROI.
Clean - that is the design of the ALPINA ALBONA. The minimalist appearance is characterised by subtle lines and the high-quality aluminium logo. The clear, tailored design results in a modern, unmistakable, timeless shape. The shell of the helmet consists of two polycarbonate plates that fit together seamlessly thanks to Seamless Connection. Edge Protect protects the helmet in the front area and soft surface transitions add a touch of refinement the surface. The top is defined by discreet air vents which are integrated at strategically important points. Active ventilation continuously floods the Air Channels with sufficient air. Inside, a channelling system in the EPS directs the air flow around the entire head. This provides cooling air while simultaneously conducting heat away. The new ear construction also ensures a very high level of comfort. The comfortable materials nestle against each other and the perforation guarantees outstanding perception of your surroundings.
The ALPINA ALBONA is a freeride helmet, which offers uncompromising protection, together with many well thought-out details and high-quality workmanship.
The inner shell of every Alpina helmet is made of HI-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). Microscopically small air chambers absorb the forces acting in the event of an impact and provide protective damping. HI-EPS enables extra-thin wall thicknesses and narrow helmet shapes. Since it absorbs neither water nor sweat, the protective effect is maintained for a long time.
An extremely break- and scratch-resistant layer that is applied to the lower edge of the helmet. It provides extra safety in the event of a side impact and protects the EPS from damage.
All Alpina helmets are equipped with the Ergomatic belt buckle. The twist-resistant multi-stage automatic locking system can be operated with one hand and cannot open in the event of a fall.
