I am new to rock climbing. After having tried several models of slippers, and always having "pain in it", a friend recommended this lace-up model to me. I have been using it for two months, and it's really nice in terms of comfort and grip.
I am sailing in 5, max 5C in mind, and I am far from "saturating" these slippers.
On the other hand, it was a bit of a hassle to find my size (43/44 in shoes) I had to place 4 orders to arrive at the end with 45 1/3 !. Well, that was just wasted time.
In conclusion, if you are looking for comfortable slippers with a nice grip, do not hesitate.

I bought the shoe as a more comfortable shoe for multi-pitch lengths and so far tested it in the hall and on the rock up to 6b.
At the beginning the shoe is very hard, but after 2-3 days of climbing it becomes noticeably softer.
I wear street shoes in 45 and have the shoe in 44 2/3, it would be a bit too big for sport climbing, so half a size smaller would certainly do well. In very steep routes there is certainly better, otherwise it has done everything from flat to slightly overhanging so far.
